** THE ASSOCIATED PRESS CANNOT AUTHENTICATE THE CONTENT OF THESE IMAGES **

This image provided Monday, Oct. 29, 2007 by hunter Rick Jacobs shows an image taken by a camera with an automatic trigger set up in Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest on Sept. 16, 2007. The only thing certain about the critter photographed by a hunter's camera is that some people have gotten the notion it could be a Sasquatch, or bigfoot. Others say it's just a bear with a bad skin infection. (AP Photo/Rick Jacobs)

PA DNR says the same thing. Bear with a bad case of mange.

I think it looks like a monkey, hind legs look too long for a bear.

At first it looks like it might be a chimp or monkey. However the feet are wrong for that...no opposing digit like with apes.

Legs look strange but could be a very sick bear.

+1 I'm heading up this weekend and when I step out of the camper to pee in the night, some long hairy arm is going to reach out and grab my ass and it won't be my wife! [:(!][:(!] It will be your fault!! I'm going to have to resort to peeing in a coffee can until daylight......damn.

Personally, I think the owner of the camera has a few, fun-lovin' friends who know where the camera is set up.
I know my friends would never pass on an opportunity to pull a stunt like that.

Or it could be a bear with mange.

A thin young bear. There are no black tailless primates that are nocturnal.

You've obviously never met my mother in law.

I was referring to mammals. Black tailless primates consist of the chimpanzee, the bonobo, the siamang and a couple of other gibbon species, all of which are diurnal.

Your mother in law is a lovely lady undeserving of your snide remarks.

You can have her. Even my wife won't lay claim to her.

    Definitely a chimpanzee.
I watched Tarzan just yesterday, that ape is a dead ringer for Cheetah.
He always was a camera hound.

Thats an illusive Wallabear. I have seen many. That one has good mass, a definite shooter.

I take it then you noticed that cheetah, in the movies at least, was an immature fremale?
