Has anyone heard when the new thompson icon will be released? Couldn't see anything on the thompson website. Looks like a good gun but do we really need another .30 cal. How about the cost on one??

  Judging from how long it took to get the G2 frames out the door the Icon won't be available until 2009.

  Price is in the $800 range according to "guns and ammo". See this months article!

  Probably a really nice bolt gun - but I couldn't believe it was priced at less than their "Pro Hunter" single shot. Now you want to talk about overpriced..................
