What are the basic differences, if there are any, in the Sigs made in Germany and the ones from good old USA?

Does anyone know if SIG ever made a pistol in 10mm? I have a co-worker who thought he heard of such a thing. I've never seen one so I figured I'd throw it out here for the heck of it.

    Thanks.

Why id it that the Sig-Pro 2340 costs so much less than the other models[?][?][?]. I've seen these suckers for $400 flat.

    Thanks,

50 rounds flawlessly. lasermax sight didn't work in the sun but when a cloud came over it shined good on an empty busch light can. And accurate also. I think I've found my new favorite auto handgun. I'll turn my Rock Island into a wall hanger and keep the Sig for shooting. Sorry GRD.

I know now why the Sig costs more than twice as much as the RIA. It's because it's worth it.

Most that get a SIG are happy with it.
It's my choice for daily carry.

I have the sig232 and the sig P-245 and they are both reliable and accurate. They aren't cheap but they will soon be on your list of favorite firearms.[:0]

I love a SIG our issue weapon is a SIG P-229 .357sig, Ive seen many many rounds down range and they just keep on going. I have a P-229 in .357sig and one in a .40cal, I also have a SIG Pro in .357 sig. I feel they are the best or one of the best firearms on the market. I cant wait until I can afford my P-220. Safe shooting!

    I have a 226 and a 239 in .40 S&W and they are both very fine pistols.

I like the feel of my 1911's better, but that is a matter of shape for my hands and taste, not an evaluation of quality. They are both excellent.
