    Why would that surprise anyone?

    If you have ever been to NO you would know that most down there live like SCUM anyway!

    They are nothing but people expecting all of us to take care of them by mooching off the system!

    ...As Kev said, this should not surprise anyone. When you have someone that has never "earned" anything in their life, they haven't the ability to appreciate the "earned value" aspect of anything, obviously.

    ...Take a look at how long it's been since the storm and how many are still just along for the "ride" you and I are paying for, pathetic.

    ...I have seen/read lots stories on the other hand about many who have relocated, started up their business in their new area and are doing well; and there lies the difference, these people EARNED what they had pryor to the storm and appreciated more than a trailer and free cheese...[;)]

    I can't view the video where I'm at but I can tell you what I've seen happen to government-built housing on Indian reservations. You're right about how people take care of what they've earned versus what they've been handed out.

    the "victims" landed here in Houston Texas. our crime rate went threw the roof. thank God we have the right to carry. did you see the interview with the lady in new orleans. they asked her did she think Al Qaeda blew up the levee. her response was "i don't know what his name is"

    This is why these people live in slums. They want the best but destroy everything they touch. Then wonder why they can't find "decent" housing.

    We get migrant workers in my area and I have observed that everything is diposable to them. Buy a cheap house, destroy whatever value or potential value it has then walk away leaving 95% of their accumilated personal property with it.

    I didnt watch the vid but this behavior is not new by any means.They(not all,but most) have destroyed everything they touch.I went on a buiness trip to boston 2 years ago and when people found out where I was from they automaticly thought I was an evacuee.The reaction I got was awwwww you must be devistated that the gov. let you down like that.If they could only see through my eyes for just a little while.The evacs. really are "special[}:)]" people.

    The fiancee and I bought a rental house two months before Katrina hit. When the storm hit, we had just about finished fixing it up. I seriously thought about calling the Red Cross, and letting 3 or 4 Katrina refugees live there, out of the goodness of my heart.
    Thank God, after a few days I figured out that we would be getting this type of human trash in our house, they would damage the house, and not be grateful for what we had done, and they would be hard to evict. I decided not to call the Red Cross.

    these are the same ones(not every single one but many)who used their $2500 master card/visa cards that they got from the red cross that are supposed to be used to buy emeregency supplies like food, water, medicine ect. do you kno what some of them used the money for? to go and buy expensive purses like louis vutton and prada ect. those damn people need a bullet to the head. that pisses me off.

    They used those cards to go to strip clubs and more also.

    I live in Houston and having that trash come over has cause a huge strain on this city in every way. Like kilz said our crime went through the roof. I watch almost nightly on the news about some Katrina trash killing someone or raping someone.
