My Gold Stars = Giveaway
Here it is.
I've learned, grown, matured and laughed till I wet myself here at Gunbroker, and I want to thank every one of you for the good time. I braved sub-zero cold tonight to pick through my weird conglomeration of reading material to find something that somebody might find useful or entertaining and here's what I found;
1) "The Eyes of the Eagle" by Gary A. Linderer. It's about F Company Lurps. (dogeared softback, it's a good read for folks like me who were too young to serve, but remain fascinated by this chapter of U.S. History)
2)Duncan Long's "The Mini-14" A history of one of the most-debated long arms here on GB (hardback)
3)Richard Fairburn's "Police Rifles" (softback)
Straight-up drawing. Winner gets all three.
I'll put all the names in a box and my beautiful bride will pick the winner next week. (Let's make it Wednesday) I'm paying the freight.

I should warn y'all...The mini-14 book has some weird typos that seem to change the context of what is written. read it carefuly.0 -
