Thank you kindly...I sure pride myslf on not being a 'normal gun owner'..one that buys off on gun control being good for us..'neccessary' you know..
The fact that the weight of history eventually destroys the 'go-alongers' as the strong central governments rounds up citizens and kills them never seems to bother you 'oh-so-normal' types.

I believe everyone should also, and I believe that crime rates would plummet.
Not everyone will though, and in all fainess it is better that they don't.
Without the correct mindset, and skills, carrying a gun, or even keeping one at home on the "nightstand", may very well result in that persons own death.
Some folks just don't like guns, and we will never "make" them like them, nor own them.
I am NOT looking for more laws,......but am disgusted by the huge numbers of people around here, that have obtained their CCW, by firing 3 shots from a rental .22 revolver. Doesn't even matter if they hit the stinking paper,........they are done.
A lot simply go buy a pistol of their own, and carry it around from time to time, or leave it in a drawer. No range time is spent, no regular practice, that is a necessity to develop any proficiency with a firearm, much less being able to survive a "stressful" encounter.
Once again, I don't want a law, I just wish that folks that have decided to own one, and carry it, would be responsible enough, to learn how to use the damn thing efficiently.
We have tons of seniors from New York, and New Jersey, that are 70 years old, and a lot have never owned nor shot a gun before in their life. They take the above type of 3 shot course, and suddenly they are Wyatt Earp.
I know this is true around here anyway, because I see it with my own eyes all the time. They let a guy that gives one of those "crap" courses, use the range I belong to for the 3 shot part!
They will come up to you,.........what is that gun, whats this one?
I tell them and ask what they have.
Often I hear,......."Oh, I am just getting ready to buy my first gun, I'm from New York". They usually do it as couples, so not only do we have a 70 year old male, that doesn't know what a .45 is, but his elderly wife is ALSO getting her permit.
I ask them if they are joining the range?
Oh no,........its too expensive, and we don't really like to shoot, we just want the CCW because it is legal here, and we want to protect ourselves![xx(]
    Not worth going any further![;)]
