I can't believe it,I had no use for
    black guns nor plastic pistols.
    I now have 2 AR-15's 233/6.8
    and 3 glocks.
On top of all that I just bought
    a Galco Miami classic rig.
    I must be losing it.

I have a Colt Defender. I want to carry locked and cocked. I was wondering if anyone had one of these holsters and if the thumb break strap went between the hammer and the back of the gun.

Anyone else know of good a IWB holsters with the thumb break strap?

Anyone know of a shoulder holster that would work for a S&W 629 with a Burris Fast Fire 3 sight on it. I have a Uncle Mikes #3 that I am thinking of trying to modify "cut n whack". Would prefer a vertical one. I am trying to find something other than the large ones designed for guns with scopes, seems they would have a little to much room.

Don Hume makes good stuff, Uncle Mikes makes functional, cheap stuff. Holsters can get real expensive. If you're going to wear it everyday, it's really not unreasonable to expect to spend the kind of money that you would spend on a decent suit that you would plan on having for a long time.

If its something your going to wear alot get out your wallet and you won't be disappointed with a high end holster.

I don't mind getting my wallet out at all. I'm just not sure what is a good set up for a Colt Defender in very hot humid weather. I'm uncomfortable with wearing a outside the pants holster because I only wear t-shirts down here and feel like you can see it to easy.

At work I wear coveralls and will probally wear a shoulder rig as I think that would best conceal and be easy to get to by just unzipping them a little.
