I used to chew. Until I tripped going up some stairs with a big spit worked up. I was chewing Cope. I swallowed the spit, never been sicker in my life. Honestly,I thought I was going to die. Room was spinning, heart was racing, BP went through the roof. I've never chewed since. 0 -
yeah, i chew
at lunch and dinner! [:D][:D]0 -
When I was a little kid, Dad chewed the rough cut tobacco and would sometimes offer us (my brothers and I) some to watch us turn white.[}:)] One day we were hauling grain to town and there was a really good cross wind going through the cab of the old truck. He was quite amused, watching me chew on a mouthful, when all of a sudden I had to spit, so I leaned out the window to spit, and before I could get back in, I heard, "Jeeesus Chriiist!" turning to look at him he had every drop of what I just spit out stuck to side of his face. [:D][:D] Apparently, when I spit it came back into the cab with the crosswind and splat! He quickly pulled over, made me get out and spit all my chew out before we continued on our way to town. Funny thing was, I think that was that last time he ever offered me a chew. 0 -

It's a filthy, disgusting habit..
That I can't break.0 -

Been there, done that...it tastes bad and it expensive. Dont do it and never will again.0 -
Tried it for a short while many years back, then when trying to spit
out of my truck window (which wasn't rolled down), figured enough of
that.[B)][8D]0 -
1-2 cans of Copenhagen a day...I'm going to try to quit today...I hope I have my last dip in right now... 0 -
off and on again,..Skoal mint long cut. I try to keep it as a once-in-a-while thing,..cause I could sure enough dip a can a day. 0 -
3 times every day...breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't feel like paying $4 a can and then the $4000 for getting rid of mouth cancer. 0 -
I dipped Copenhagen for around 15 years. About 5 years ago I just got sick of it one day and stopped cold turkey.
I never spit and usually swallowed the whole cud when the juice was gone.0 -
Kodiak (a.k.a. kodi-crack) for me, please. Love that stuff. Always played baseball as a teenager, dipping was mandatory. Stopped smoking @ 3 years back, and started chewing again. I go through @ 2 cans a week on average, more if I'm at the race track or in the woods[:D] 0 -
Filthy, disgusting, horrid habit....just ask any wife whose husband does it...
Thank goodness my hubby doesnt...0 -
used to chew about 2 cans a day of Skoal Staight a day and then quit for awhile and when i quit smoking 5/6 years ago i started chewing again, since the price went through the roof on tobacco here in VA. i went to Grizzly straight, half the price and twice as good as my good ole Skoal. May quit one day, i go through a can a day 0 -
the best cheap stuff is Long Horn. Its not bad for the price 0 -
Gross true story about dipping: when I was in high school we had a skiing club. We were skiing at Seven Springs in Pa and some of the guys were dipping and one of them was using a Pepsi can to spit in. We were sitting around the lodge and a bunch of the girls came in from the slopes. One of them grabbed the Pepsi can and before we could stop her, gulped down what she thought was Pepsi. She instantly puked all over the place. 0 -
about 2 tins a week [xx(] 0 -
Started in 1975 and still do. But I buy Longhorn long cut wintergreen, lots cheaper than Skoal.Used to dip Cope cause most people back then wouldn't bum a dip of Cope like they would Skoal. Probably 2 cans a day depending on what I'm doing. 0 -

My cousin did that in his brand new F350 superduty. I don't think he ever got the smell out of it. He had a Pepsi bottle next to one he was spitting in. Took a swig of the "bad" Pepsi.0 -
Yep...can of cope long cut lasts 3-4 days. I am in the process of quitting. 0 -

What does the water and listerine have to do with anything??[?]0 -
Skoal Long Cut Mint. About a can every two days or so. 0 -
I started smoking in high scool but when I graduated from engineering school and began working in the petroleum industry I soon discoverd that smoking at an oil refinery was not the best habit to have! I started chewing Copenhagen, eventually reaching a can per day for ten years, but I gave it up cold turkey when I married Mrs. K a little over 15 years ago. Although it was tough saying good bye to the chew, giving up cigars was the worst for me. 0
