I have more ammo on hand in months when it is time to restock [:D] 0 -
550 rounds could be one brick of .22 ammo. I have like 10 bricks right now...in addition to my other stuff, lol 0 -
Whoopee. 550 rounds. Enough for a fun afternoon, nothing more. 0 -
so my box of 22's I buy at waaly world will make news
I blow thru 2k of 22 every visit to my range.0 -
That's less than an hour's progressive output![:o)] 0 -
550 rounds? Puhlease. That's a starter kit, if that. 0 -
I have more loose ammo then that rolling around in my car [:D]. Ok, well it is not rolling it is in mags, but still. 0 -
They have to have a gun owner card to have guns in their own house? How is having loaded guns in your own house a crime? 0 -
I have over 12000 rounds between all my guns right now (about 6000 of that is just 7.62x39). I need about another 5000 .45 on hand as I have been shooting alot of it as of late with 6 guns that take it. 0 -
They have to have the firearms owner's card to buy ammo in that state. Thus, I bet that posession of the ammo without a card is a crime also. Tank needs a very good lawyer.
As for constitutional rights being preserved in Illinois, nope.0 -

550 rounds? Ha! When I get down to two bricks I buy another case (5000)!

Tank just needs to be put away.
It was the third arrest in 18 months for Johnson, who must stay at home except to go to work and needs permission to leave Illinois until a court decides whether he violated his probation on a 2005 gun charge.
Johnson publicly apologized and received a one-game suspension0 -
Professional athletes are special people who should get a free pass for assaulting women, driving drunk, or snorting whatever they want up their nose...... 0 -
"Tank just needs to be put away."
Do you REALLY think a person should be arrested for having six guns and some ammo?
Sounds like the sentiments of Hillary or Charles Schumer.0 -
He must have been planning on killing 550 people. Guns don't kill people, bullets do! 0 -
hhmm, say an average cop has a 15 rd. clip in his pistola. 2 extra clips.
2 cops per cruiser. if 6 cop cars showed up (that's possible), they have just as much ammo as him. doesn't take much, eh? that's still not counting the ammo for their shotguns and/or whatever else they might be packing.
that's not an 'arsenal'. that's barely "adequately stocked".
anyways, there shouldn't be a problem with anybody having an 'arsenal'. that's a right we are guaranteed to have, which shouldn't have to rely on a guarantee in the first place.0 -
Illinois law is messed up. 0 -
PP, ya beat me to it!
If I had only 550 rounds I think I would panic. Of course all LEO around here have shot with me and are fully aware, and envious, of my arsenal.

someone needs to challenge that charge and take it to the hightest court in the land if necessary. I don't think any city has the right to control legal ammo or guns in your own home.0 -

while I agree your sentiment is correct, the leftist dominated courts would most likely put you in your place and tell you the TRUE meaning of the 2nd Amendment. . . according to their political preconceptions and revisionist history that is.0 -

I hear you! We need one more conservative on the supreme court and then it might be a good time to head that direction to correct this issue. I wish Ginsberg would exit quickly![:0][;)][;)]0 -

About that Wolf ammo you have there.... is the muzzle flash really big for 7.62x39? I tried 9mm Wolf in my Beretta and the flash was so big I stopped using it. I would not even try and keep that in the gun, lest I become blind trying to shoot someone at night. .380 Wolf had a big flash too.0 -
First off... he is a convicted thug, his 3rd arrest in 18 months, and a previous gun charge against him. Lock him up, athlete or no.
Secondly, I make a bee line straight for the gun/ammo store of choice when I am below 2K rounds at home. My last trip to the range I blew through over 600 rounds alone. 550 is nothing.
