Easter Dinner/Supper Traditions?
My family always has baked ham, mashed taters, homemade bread and all the rest of the fixings on Easter.
Any other traditions as to food on this day?

Being of Italian descent, I'll be making a big tray of lasagna with meatballs and sausages. Lasagna is by design a heavy and rich dish; it is traditionally prepared on festive occasions and Easter is one such holiday. Usually, I'd prepare a baked ham with a glaze but this year I thought I'd prepare something that takes me back to my roots and also my childhood.
No matter what you decide to eat, a HAPPY and BLESSED EASTER to everyone!!!0 -
Usually, it's been whatever someone else was cooking.
This year, maybe something on the grill--whatever the bank account will bear, I suppose. [:I]0 -
Tradition is over. Most of the family has passed on. Whats left we don`t generally gather with except maybe at Christmas. We won`t do anything special. 0 -

My mother and now my sister always makes Lamb. I don't care for the stuff much myself, but its edible. 0
