Being of Italian descent, I'll be making a big tray of lasagna with meatballs and sausages. Lasagna is by design a heavy and rich dish; it is traditionally prepared on festive occasions and Easter is one such holiday. Usually, I'd prepare a baked ham with a glaze but this year I thought I'd prepare something that takes me back to my roots and also my childhood.

No matter what you decide to eat, a HAPPY and BLESSED EASTER to everyone!!!

Usually, it's been whatever someone else was cooking.

This year, maybe something on the grill--whatever the bank account will bear, I suppose. [:I]

Tradition is over. Most of the family has passed on. Whats left we don`t generally gather with except maybe at Christmas. We won`t do anything special.
