    Hey Rosie;
    They are a hoot. I've put over 600 rounds through one of mine, over 100 rounds today! The other is a hex receiver and is kept as new. They shoot very well with surplus ammo and are kiss simple to clean and maintain. Mine look like arsenal rebuilds with NEW barrels and clean, well finished wood and metal.

    If you get some of the steel cased surplus ammo make sure you wear glasses. It puffs some wind in your face when you shoot it. The steel cases do not oburate the chamber fast enough to prevent a puff of gas leaking back at you. I have not had a single misfire or hang fire with any ammo shot so far.

    The triggers are crappy but for a 200 yard plinker they are hard to beat. THe power is about equal to a 308 so it is nothing to sneeze at.

    Try to find some of the steel cased practice ammunition that was floating around a year or two ago. Its Czech, with a dark green laquered case and a round, 46 gr bullet with white tip. This stuff is lots of fun for plinking, with the felt recoil of a .223.
