Conversion kits

I've been wondering about what conversion kits are out there. I'd love a .22 conversion kit for my Sig P-220 or Colt Defender. Anyone know if they are out there? I've done some searchs and can't seem to pull anything up.

I'm also thinking about getting a Rock Island 1911 style. Cheap gun for a 1911 style and seems to do a good job as a shooter (would have to embezzle the money from the wife). Do the .22 conversion kits work well on these?

Is there alot of work that needs to be done with these conversion kits, or do they fit and work well?

  Here is a link to a post on another site written by a former Gun Broker member. This guy simply knew too much about firearms and owned far too many impressive guns to be allowed to remain around here so he was forced to leave.

  There are a number of different .22 caliber kits out there. Ceiner makes several as do other makers.

  Sorry about that. Since it is not a rival firearms auction site I did not think that there would be a problem. It won't happen again.
