Why is that there are almost no shootings in Switzerland, where, by law, there is an automatic weapon in every domestic cupboard, while there are so many shootings in the US?
I had never really considered this, but it certainly suggests that the actual problem is to be found in US society, not in gun ownership. The US will need to examine itself very closely to address the root causes. Only this way can such terrible tragedies be avoided in future.

I found this comment interesting so I passed it on....

I worked with a Swiss national for afew years and we got to talking about our Army days. He told me that he would use his hand grenades to blow out tree stumps on his property! So I would guess if they let him bring home grenades, then the rifle they brought home was capable of full auto!!?

You have never thought of why we are a more voilent society then alot of the world? Wow I think about that all the time. I won't share my views on what I think is the reason, alot probally will do what society has programed them to do. 0
