Prior to watching video 2:
Obviously there was something else going on off camera that initiated the shooting, but if someone wanting to slam the police saw the first video, they would see an officer unloading a magazine into some random guy walking. At this point, I HAVE NOT watched the second video.
After watching video 2:
The random guy walking was armed, and was resisting arrest. He didn't fire at the officers (that I could see) but he did have his pistol pointed at one of the officers' head at point blank range. The police reacted to eliminate a threat to themselves.0 -
I had seen this before, so already knew the outcome, but in fairness from the first video I would have said not justified. After the second video I would have said why did they miss sooo many times and why did they quit before both guns were empty. I have seen the westerns and I am sure they both had at least fifty rounds left.[;)] 0 -
Really makes a difference when you see both camera views. It par for the news media to pick up only the first video and not show the second one. 0 -

This happend here,The guys name was Hudspeth.The #1 camera angle,To my knowledge was never shown,I dont remember the #2 angle either.I guess cuz they show impact shots.It riled up the local tribe when it was deemed a good shoot. 0 -

after watching him point the gun at them in the second video, they should have shot him in the face. where they using .22?0 -
Keep this little video exercise in mind the next time you read an account of a shooting that's being questioned.
Even with the luxury of watching this incident play out as many times as they wish from the calm, safe atmosphere of their video screens, everyone so far has failed to spot a significant detail.

I think theres another camera angle.I remember him pointing it for what seamed an eternity.I think I would hahe shot him early on in the ordeal. 0 -
Here we see how easily a cell phone can be mistaken for a handgun when under stress.
I notice on a related thread where someone thinks that having a small bit of orange on an otherwise realistic appearing fake handgun makes it "pretty easy to tell it's a TOY". Maybe it would've made a difference if this cell phone antenna had been painted orange.0 -
Had you guys been from Krypton as I ...you would notice that the first video is actually the best one.
1st as the dude kinda half stumbles in front of the cruiser you can clearly see the gun in is hand.
2nd when the dude turns you can very clearly see the empty from dumbies gun bounce off the building and back into the view of the camera. The officer on the left damn near bought it. You can clearly see him react to the shot by attemping to make himself a smaller target by getting down.0 -

Ok so what if instead of the poliaza, it was to civillians trying to get an unruly person to leave the parking lot of their establishment. What would happen to them keeping the second video in mind. 0
