I havent been to their site lately and couldnt get to it tonight, i know they had some issues a year ago, does anyone know if its still up and running or has it shut down.[?]

    Was on it last week, working OK then- but "not found" now. Jacob, site is info (really good) not sales.

    If your into Mil Surps, I think its the best site that ive found for them. Hope its not gone.

    Jamie announce months and months ago that they would be closing shop.
    He offered for sale the whole site on CD for over a year. Then he transferred the CDs to another fellow, who was to help him fill orders about 6 months ago, if I remember correctly.

    Now, it's gone. Too bad, because it was the absolute best site for dozens of surplus and military firearms, including demonstrated techniques for dissassembly/reassembly, etc. I've got one of the early CDs. Has the M1, the 1911, M48, and a dozen more. But, I don't have the rights to copy or distribute, so, I won't.

    Maybe you can google his name and find the guy who does have the rights, and buy the stuff from him.

    His name was Jamie Mangrum (Sp?) I believe that's right.

    Surplusrifle.com was purchased by Tennessee Gun Parts last year. The website's server is down or they are doing work on it because their forum is up and running with current posts.
