Cutie, now that your back, MOTOR QUESTION!
This a good'un? Ive got my hands on her if i want it! 1000.00 and its mine.
One of my buddies has one of these - he is going to sell it to me on payments for a show car probably - itll be a nice one for sure. Ups / downs on this motor? yes, I know it can be a painful one if treated wrong, and that the gas is 25.00 a gallon. [:D]
587 stroker, 845 HP
9.85 in quarter test
launch at post is .5
11:5:1 18 high rise, paxton blower, (16 FPP)
dyno at 840 HP
top end is estimated around 190 in a 1/4 mile
GUARNTEED 9 seconds - 10 seconds.
Jenkins attributes the motor to the 427 HEMI

You could sell the blower alone for more than $1000! 0 -

Thats what I told dad, he said "No you cant no one wants those!"
And im told, i could probably get 1000 out of each head0 -
Sounds like a good deal, but if you plan on putting it in a daily driver you might not be that happy with it.
That's alot of compression for a street motor. If you have too much compression you'll always have to stay on the gas. Letting off of it is almost like hitting the brakes. The motor compression will pull it down that fast, especilly at high speeds.
A 190 mph in the quarter would put you in a 1100-1300 hp car and closer to 7 seconds. He must be really slow on his take-off and I'm guessing the car is built too with alot of weight shave off. If he's running 190 with only 840hp. So don't expect that motor to run that in a street car. And don't forget you will have to get a transmission, driveshaft, and rearend to hold up to that too.
I hope this helps honey. I'm not much into car motors, so my advice might not be that great.
Here's my idea of a stroker.
