1986 firebird

good or bad car? found one locally and am interested in it. the car has a V6 w/ auto trans. the only bad thing is it has body damage. lots of dents, but low miles. red w/ gray interior. thoughts? whats it worth?

  $700 with the info you gave...and that's if it's fully loaded. I had a '74, 78, 79, 87 and 92 Firebirds or TransAms and the 87 was the worst one as far as ride went. The suspension was just too damn stiff. You could feel every pebble you ran over. That has the 2.8L V6 with fuel injection. Not exactly a powerhouse.
  
  Atleast is is a V6 with the 700R4. The V8s used to just shake the car apart, literally! If the car is mechanically sound and safe to drive and isn't leaking like the Exxon Valdez, go for it. They can be fun cars if you're willing to put some work into it. Dents are just character builders.[;)]

  I'd pass. It'd be worth it if it had an 8 but I dont know about the 6.

  Man, thats like my moms camaro, and the insurance is REALLY high.. Their fast little cars and they crumble easily, im going for a truck..
