1911
A friend of mine purchased a 1911 clone custom. Its Got an Essex frame and Colt slide. He doesnt want it anymore. He said he cant afford a custom gun. He was going to sell it to me Awhile back but he waited too long and I got one of my own to work on. Anyway what do you think would be the best way to sell it? Part it out or sell it as a whole. He isnt computer literate and I told him Id put it up for sale on GB for him. He is a good guy and I just want to get the most out of it for him. To part it out or not to part it out. That is the question.

Hey Colt, what's the Commander chambered in? I got both a .45 and 9mm Commander, still looking for a .38 Super.0 -
...Les Baer +111111111111, IMO better than Brown, and WAY better than Wilson...Baer is on my list after I pick up a super clean SS Delta Elite Gold Cup....Baer's are s-w-e-e-t! and reasonable too compared to a Brown.
...But dang, I love the Colt Defender too. and the Kimber Raptor II may just be the best looking 1911 out today! I really like Kimbers Ultra Carry II also...The Colt Special Combat gives me a woody...[:p]...and this Detonics Combat Master at close out price of a little less than a thousand REALLY tickles the sheeet out of my fancy!!! B-uti-Full!...guess I need to break into my piggy bank...so many sweet guns, and too little time/money...[^]0 -

One of my favorites!...but then all my Colts are my favorites [:p][^]...and my "babies"...( I sleep, and cuddle them all)...and this is not all of them...the kingsize bed gets crowded...or so my better half says [:0][:D]...but she loves them as much as I do, Im a lucky man!

I'm the second owner on mine. But they are both in real good condition, 95-98+. The only thing I've had go wrong, the .45 stovepiped on me once when I was shooting reloads. Other than that, no problems.0 -

800-950 IMHO, most bang for the buck: Dan Wesson(now a division of CZ) C-BOB $830
950--1200 - Any Kimber
1300-1500 Wilson Combat - semi custom
1500 ++ Without a doubt Ed Brown...period end of story.....0
