I usually use Peltor ear muffs that I get from my brothers work at a nice discount [:)] The only thing I do not like about them is they are an over the head style and you can not wear a hat with them. I am not a big hat wearer but when shooting I like to wear my boonie hat to help block the sun.

I have been thinking about getting a set of behind the head muffs either regular or electronic. I dont want to spend a ton of money but I would rather spend a little more to get good ones the first time. Anyone have any suggestions for good behind the head muffs?

Looks like a pretty decent set. What is the db rating on the ears?

    Is that the Remington "R"

Although those type hearing protection are great for kids, because they dont like putting the ear plugs in their ears, rifle shooting is made more difficult for the kid because it interfers with their cheek to stock fit.

Here, get her a set of these so she can hear your commands as she's shooting. At $20, they are worth it.
