People Are Smart!
My wife got a 911 call at work the other day. A woman is in a near panic. Two stray dogs wandered in her yard and almost attacked her dog and her children almost went outside to play.
She wants the police to come out.
The dogs are gone. Her dog was not attacked. Her children were safe.
My wife suggests the woman get a fence for her yard.
The woman indicates she has a fence. The dogs went under the fence.
My wife asks what kind of dogs are these.
Minerature Doberman Pinchers.
So these scary minature doberman pinchers are gone. She's keeping her children inside the house, and she wants the police.
People are stupid.
She wants the police to come out.

How many Animal control departments work together with police departments. In my city the kennels drive a truck marked with the police logos and have police radios. In the suburb I live in the animal control officer drives a police car. So I can see calling the police for animals. (Working security, I got the dispatcher to give me the direct number for animal control as the hood is nearby and the pit bulls get loose every so often.) 0 -

But anywho, whenever I see stories like this I always wonder what the heck these people would do in a really stressful situation, like if the dishwasher started flooding or something.0
