Now! Reasonable $ tricked out Mini 14
Somebody posted a comment on a really high dollar Mini 14 and I told ya'll to wait until this weekend for the real deal. Here it be.
The best value in a hot rod Mini 14 you'll find.
Yet another NO RESERVE auction from old Whompuss. I truly believe in the auction process and ain't been caught with my pants down yet.

Show me that model for $30 and I'll double your money.
I've seen "rifles" at Wal Mart for $89 but not THAT rifle.
You're really showing your ignorance. Click on this link, it's a $179 optic. Plus $10 shipping. [:p]

Zulu 7, you owe me an apology. 0 -
Whomp - That is a nifty looking Mini - I'd far rather have it than the other one you referred to.
But, I have my own nifty Mini, so I won't be bidding.
Have you ever shot a Mini-14 with a red dot ??
I have a sight that a Son gave me that I have never installed, and just am wondering about how it works out.
Thanks,
Doug0 -
Doug,
My son has the identical set up that I'm selling. That's why I built up this one. I can get on a target faster with the plain dot than with any other sight system.
Before I shot this setup my son had a severe financial setback and needs $$. I bought his rifle which is lightly used and am selling this one since I hardly need two and figured the new one would sell better.
You should know that the Mini 14 is not a long range rifle- that's why I have an H-bar. But for close fast shots, this is ideal.
ps: by all means get the rail I advertised. It is the only one I ever saw that still lets you use the factory sights. The rail is pricey, I found it sold at several vendors for $109, I finally got a new one on E Barf for $89.0 -
Thank you, sir.

The only red dot I've ever seen in Walmart for $30 was a little BSA ... which in no way compares to an ATN! 0 -
Looks like a fun gun.... 0 -

Mine says LE/GB on the box and is listed that way when you order from wholesaler. There are others on GB listed the same way.[?][?]0 -
hmmm...
A search for "gb" on Ruger's web site didn't give me (a lowly civilian) any results. I spoze there's a slight chance they've updated their models in the last few decades, not that I was ever a Ruger expert.
Personally, I like minis a lot and have owned a few over the years. I currently have a Zeiss Z-Point on mine. The field of view is pretty small, and I have it mounted as far forward as possible, so I have to look for it like a front sight when throwing the carbine up on target, but it's still a helluva lot faster than the irons.
Good luck on the auction!0
