She has indeed given us a powerful argument, and we should use it.

What I'm wondering, though, is why we haven't heard already (I'm anticipating it will happen) someone suggesting that, rather than killing him, attempts should have been made to reason with, to help, Matthew Murray. We all have plenty of first-hand experience and have heard far too many valid reports in regard to this mentality -- that, by terminating his existence (or, as it seems, lending him assistance in doing so -- apparently he suicided before the wounds Ms. Assam inflicted could kill him), this brave person deprived a confused young man of any opportunity to seek or be given help.

It's a load of bovine fecal matter, I know, but those who drizzle it apparently believe it. I bring it up merely to prepare anyone who's inclined to argue as TR suggests, that to the people who actually need their minds changed about owning, carrying, and using guns, the outcome of the New Life Church shootings won't be even remotely the slam-dunk argument it appears to us (and to any reasonable person, I might add). Anti-gunners are simply another form of bigot, and bigots make their minds up first, then use, modify, or outright ignore facts as necessary to support their chosen attitude.

Well, we could still cut his brain into thin deli-style slices and analyze it...

Taking into account many of your previous posts, were you also proud of her when she was a cop and acted in an abusive manner toward a citizen, then lied about it?

For the record, I'm also proud of her. [;)]

You are correct. Even though I tried to be understanding towards them, there was a young couple that had been at the first shooting, the youth center shooting, in Denver and they were being interviewed about their reactions at the time; The young woman mentioned they were praying for the welfare for their fellow church members. But the young woman made me gag when she went onto to say they were also praying for the shooter. Wanting him to find "peace" and all.

Another religious spokesman, one of the church leaders mentioned how "No one knows what was going on in that poor young man's mind(the murdering shooter)".

The only thing I want going on in that young man's mind is a bullet. The only "peace" I want him to find is the peace of a shallow grave. I am sickened by people who seem to have more, or as much, concern for a mass murder that is killing your friends, and trying to kill you while the intended victims all feel sorry for the shooter and worry about what the poor man is thinking.

You lost me with that comment. I am kind of slow on picking up on things. You will have to explain this one with specifics. Possibly you have me mixed up with someone else?

Where is she from in South Dakota? My family is from South Dakota. She could be my cousin.
