When I was in northern Siberia it was always a discussion amongst the boys about how much colder -40C was than -40F, took a thermometer from the states and highly educated and respected individual in camp to convince and even then there were non-believers0 -
when temperatures get down to close to absolute zero, the temperature scales are nonlinear due to crystalline entropy effects and you have to use special multivariate equations to calculate temp. in fact there are 2 or 3 seperate equations for different temperature bands. 0 -
