Got me a snowplane yesterday !! updated w/pic

I originally posted this in fishing, but wanted share it you guys who might not ever look at the fishing forum
You are probably thinking WTH is this, but it's made for mostly icefishing the lakes around here, but they run well over packed snow and groomed trails this one looks similar to a VW bug with 190 HP lycoming airplane engine, just needs some tlc (new prop and skiis need refaced with teflon ) and ice and we are ready, Also this one will seat three adults with fishing gear and room to spare

Yes I am very excited about getting this

Anyone else with one or been around them.

I'll post a picture later in the week when I get it home.

    That looks like fun!
    I have ripped around on frozen lakes in Minnesota on a snowmobile at 60 mph, so I can imagine what fun you could have with the snow plane.

    Ok we figured it out for you.
    $1200 paint job to make it look like a flying tiger p-40
    $3000 for 2 .30 cal 1919 a4 brownings and linkage
    You will own the lake!

    Also:
    I bet that aluminum sunofabeach is cold when its been freezing for a month and you strap it on[:D]

    and yes Doug, lights are in the near future.

    The paint theme sounds good, just have to see what transpires.

    I think I'd have beef up the frame on this to handle those 1919 A4's, so for now this will just have to be a slick, maybe the next one will be built as a modified
