Not a bad read- Stephen Hawking's views seem a little mystic to me
but understand his big picture.

    I read his Brief History of Time.

    Never heard of Conflict of Coherence. What's it about?

    In short, a well put dialogue between how physical science and religion can co-exist.
    "Brief History of Time". is one of the few hundred references in this book.

    Not in my words- but the book review (this book was published in circa 2004)

    "An intensely personal account of the lively current dialogue between science and religion.- One of the world's great physical scientists addresses many of the current controversies between science and religion."


    This book for me, has been hard to put down.[^] Interesting to say the least!

    anyone who reads hawking & similar is at the top of my list... try & try to form pictures of some of the concepts of time & reality like eleven dimensional space ....hawking, sagan, clark, ferris, etc...much fun

    This has been kinda out of the blue for me. Now that I have been dabbling in astronomy and reading more in the field of it. The questions that pop into my head lead me to even more books, theories etc. Got a say no boredom on a rainy day for me for a while!

    Can you guys recommend more good books along this line?

    FrancF, Try Schroedinger's Cat. Not the science fiction book, but the one about Quantium Machanics. I probably spelled Schroedinger wrong. When Schroedinger first made his discovery, Einstein said it was a trick of mathamatics and we would eventually figure out what the trick was. Later Einstein said there is no trick it is simply the way Physics work. If you are spritualy inclined, in a religious way, you will probably come to some interesting conclusions.

    Thanks! I know it will be over my head by leaps and bounds, but yet if I can understand just a portion, and comprehend [:D] Hey I learned something![^]
