Word to the wise...be careful what glue you use...we had a glue act with the foam or the material..(dont know which) and it ate the finish off the gun within 2 days....check it often,,,0 -
A piece of 3/4" pine has the outline of the gun cut out. The covering is a piece of felt glued to the board with 3M77 spray adhesive. Some of my cases are over 15 years old and there's been no problem with the adhesive affecting the gun finish.
The compartment holds the factory sights. The compartment cover is a 1/8" slice of walnut with a walnut border to dress it up a bit.
