Just noticed your 1913 Colt in your Sig. line.
Last year I had the opportunity to buy C102 -
C1 to C1899 were made by Colt in 1912 -
a 1912 M1911 - for $5K! I had the money and
told the guy I'd have to think about it overnight.
By the next morning ... it was gone. The buyer
offered to sell it to me for $7500 - now I understand
it's up around $10K-$15K IF it were up for sale
(and it isn't)!
It was sold to and owned by a Mexican general of the
period - perfect condition.
... one of my few major gun regrets.
