Tiffany treated guns look pretty gaudy to me.
Lots of rounded corners and edges plus beat screw slots torn me off.

The final photo shows what looks like a one dollar and fifty cent plaque with very poor lettering. Hardly what I would expect from Tiffany.

Frame fit areas polished round. Not professional. Too much buffing. Joe

-If Gun Broker has any inclination to protect its members, they would boot this guy off the show. Like, right now!!

I think what this guy is doing is getting these so-so guns (heck, this one might even be a Uberti with all the markings buffed off) and having one of those gaudy, el-cheapo engraving jobs, complete with cheesy grips done in Mexico or in his own shop.

The gold inlay is probably paint or phony gold leaf, or bright brass shellaced over.

The cheesy presentation box is really a piece of work!! Did you see those 2-cent hinges and lock? I bet he bought the box at CraftMart or Michael's for $1.98 and stained it dark!

The so-called "Tiffany" label in the lid of the box, I believe, can be purchased from Dixie Gun Works as a replica gun box label for a few bucks.

The Tiffany metal plaque can be made easily at home or at a trophy shop for a few bucks.

And, of course, the photos aren't bad by accident.

$41,000.00! Some nitwit will probably buy it.

Gunbroker...........are you out there? Wake up!!

I have seen and handled an actual Tiffany Colt and that ain't one of them. Not even close to what the engravers at Tiffanys do. Not even close to what the apprentice engravers do at the local gunsmithing school.

Compare the photos of the Sharps to the "Tiffany" pictures. He managed perfect focus on the buffalo rifle. Sum'pin stinks.

    Clouder..

This guy's had 52 auctions in the past 90 days and only sold one which earned him an "F. Gunbroker.com only goes back 90 days on closed auctions but I believe that phony "Tiffany" has been for sale for over a year. Yeah, I'd buy from him right after I close a deal on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Here are some genuine Tiffany Colts:

This firearm surfaced about a year ago. Same price. I'll look for the link if anyone indicates they want to refer to it. Joe
