I know it is not a new movie, but I finally broke down and rented it last night as I have allways been a fan of the game.
The movie was not bad. It had some surprises in it. And it did keep the kids jumping through out the movie.
And YES I do want a BFG!0 -

I was on a security assignment the other night. BORING. Took along Dawnie's portable DVD player, and a copy of DOOM. I don't know where it came from; probably left here by one of the boys. Anyhow, I got about 2/3 of the way through it and the disk quit playing. Never found out how it ended up. I hate when that happens. 0 -

If you only got 2/3 of the way through you missed some of the good surpirzes in it.
There ends up being some twists in it that you don't expect.0 -

You dont actually see him kill that big monster at the end, which makes me think it escaped through the elevator shaft and will come back in part 2. (certianly if it can cut through a high strenght alloy ark door, surely it can cut an elevator door)
.... However in the video game it is an alien invasion and NOT genetic experiments gone bad.

Doom SUCKS! The video game Doom rules! The movie totally blew! The Rock is a crappy actor. But yes I have to admit some of the effects were cool. Weak plot+crappy acting= dumb movie. 0 -
