Hey folks I need a litte input from all ya'll
I am wnating to put a red dot scope on my 1894 do any of ya;ll have any dealing with how a reddot will hold up to a 1894 44mag.

What about a peep sight and a red/green front sight? You could use a Hi-viz front sight, or just paint the factory one with florescent colors. This would keep with the lines of the rife, and may be easier to install. Just my thoughts though. 0 -
Years ago( They had just came out) I mounted a Tasco Pro-point on a Contender in 44 mag.It came apart in about 50 rounds,sent it back they sent me another and I've had 0 problems from then on.Since then I've run pro=points on .22's to 58 cal. muzzle loaders with no problems. 0
