LEO killed in line of duty - Utah

A correctional officer for the Utah State Correctional Facility was killed in the line of duty here in Utah yesterday. Took an inmate to a doctor at a University of Utah clinic for some MRI work. Gaurd was overpowered and shot in the head. 60 years old, 22 years in the system, two months from retirement. My neighbor works at the prison and new the officer. The accused stated he killed the officer as retaliation for a fellow white supremaciat who was killed after pointing a gun at the police.
