Went to the Dallas Gunshow

Kinda shocked at the price differences compared to the Ft. Worth show. Saw a few friends I know and had a good time.

.223 ammo jumped to $44 from $34 for the Vmax load I like.
Guns were priced a bit high compared to the Ft. Worth show.

3 different dealers commented that they were not moving guns very well.
Maybe because the cooling tower wasn't operational and it was 80 degrees inside. The show was full of people.
I left after about an hour and a half because of the heat.

I did get a sweet deal on some AR-15 mags though. (Thanks nunn!)
And 100 rounds of .223 reloads.
Worth the trip after all.[8D]

Very few Rugers in .243 but I'm still looking.

    They had guys all over the A/C unit for about 2 hours and got it fixed. Tomorrow should be nicer.

    Cool, I hope it does go better today... there's been a Gunshow dry-Spell down here in Houston, usually there's one every other week.

    There's a gunshow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area almost every other weekend. Demand is high here I guess. Good! I love the shows. I meet some great folks, learn something every time, and find local suppliers for my hobbies- knife making and reloading and some hunting suppliers.

    I have met nunn at a couple shows.
    Handsome devil if I say so myself.[8D]

    You guys are lucky. I went to a gun show in Detroit yesterday. It should have been a crime to call it a gun show. There weren't even any of those crappy beef jerky and Mercenary video sellers to call it a show.
