QUESTION on Sig Sauer pistols

    Same as with many pistols, these have an anodized aluminum alloy frame and the magazines are steel. Wear or scratches from mag insertion is inevitable.

    If this bothers you, Birchwood-Casey makes a product called Alumiblack that can be used to periodically touch up anodizing scratches.

    Mine too. I was talking to my wife about how some of my gear was really worn, but shows no signs of abuse. She told me if I want it to always look like its NIB, then don't use it.
