i just ordered my 2nd cz52 from SOG last night.
i really have a lot of fun with this little monster.
for $120 in new condition w/extra mag, cleaning rod, & holster
i consider them to be a helluva buy.
any opinions?

What do you guys think about the CZ52 pistol. the one im looking at was made in eather the tula or the ismazh arsenal. he wants 179 im gonna affer him 150 this gun is gonna be a shooter! so i need any info, ie ammo prices, reliability, ammo ballistics any thing would help me out, thanks 0 -

They are well made reliable sidearms. 0 -
179 is a decent price. They are great shooters. 0 -
make sure you wear earplugs!!!! 0 -
Their only weak point is the firing pin, which has a tendency to break, especially if the pistol is dry fired. http://www.makarov.com has an excellent fix.
Otherwise the CZ52 is a very reliable, accurate, and fun shooter. Ammo is plentiful and reasonably priced. Spare parts are also readily available.0 -
thats the first thing my gun shop guy told me was never dry fire it! i got hold it pull the slide back and then hold the hammer and pull the trigger to uncock it. thats my extent of handling with it. after your posts im definately gonna get it! ammo was 245 a case for thet sellier kind. 0
