Hard Bound Cabelas Catalog! Woo Hoo!

I can't believe it. I just received a hard-bound copy of the Cabelas 2007 Spring Edition catalog in the mail. Wow! I wonder how much this cost to print and mail. I figure, after all that I've spent through their website in the last 5 months, someone at Cabelas owes me their first-born son. [:D]

Has anyone else gotten one of these in the mail before? Pretty cool!

    I've heard that they only go out to people who do spend enough money there to be owed a first born.[:D]

    Yes that's true, and I'm one of them too. Just got my 3rd hardbound cabelas in a row. But it might be my last cause I have about everything I need for hunting/camping now.

    You sure got that right. I was just thinking that the other day. I have stacks of cabelas catalogs/books as well as summit/jegs mags too. Not to mention my hunting mags also. Gotta go through the ship soon and throw it out.

    No Ids..That just shows their appreciation to you..Did you frame and hang that "Preferred Customer" certificate? [:D]

    I have a special problem with the hard back catalogs. I can't get my postwoman to deliver them. She brings me a darn little paper slip that tells me I have to drive twenty miles to the PO to pick them up.

    I get them but I have never even looked through it. The latest one arrived a few days ago. I will spend my 20.00 gift card though[8D]

    I have no idea. I used some of that money I saved in Iraq towards a whole boat-load of new hunting gear (tree stand, knives, game cart, thermo cell,150-quart Coleman cooler, etc). My landlord received all the boxes while I was gone. He said the UPS guy became very well-trained and came to know exactly where he wanted the boxes placed.

    Cabelas is NUMBER 1 in my book.
    Last year I ordered some stuff and called back about four hours later to add a 7.50 item to my order. The lady said the original order was already processed and this 7.50 item would need to be on a new order and shipped seperatly. I told her that it really wasn't that important and I didn't want to pay shipping for such a small order and I would just wait until I had more stuff to make a bigger order. She said she would waive shipping if I wanted to go ahead and place the 7.50 order. I told her no I would pay the shipping. She said no she wasn't going to charge me to ship it. I said How can I refuse service like that, go ahead and ship and a Big Thank You.
    I have never dealt with any catalog order company as easy and as quality as Cabelas.

    I hear ya MVP, one time I received the wrong size hunting coat it was $300. I called and they shipped and I received the right size coat in 2 days, before I even shipped the wrong one back. BTW it's always free ship when sending back. Top notch service no doubt!!!
