I tell him it's not legal in NY and I cant sell and he uses the BIN.
I have talked to 2 gun shops in NY state. 1 says it's legal, the other says it's not.
I had a forum member who say that he sees it at all the guns shows.
Anyone else know if 30-06 AP ammo is legal in NY State?

I have an awards banquet tomorrow with the 5th Bomb Wing commander and my bey set of BDUs has some grease stains on it from work. There's small and not real noticeable, but I feel like a dirt bad wearing them. 0 -
you don't have an "inspection" set? i always had one set just for inspections, never wore them to work 0 -
This set was until one Friday morning I had to go to a change of command ceremony. I was working nights then and me and the rest of my shift were told that we could go home afterwards, but we ended up having to stay to do all of day shift's work. All of us were in our best BDUs and they ended up getting wreaked. 0 -

Clothing sales has been out of the more common size BDU paints for some time since the AF is in the middle of swapping BDUs for the new ABUs. 0 -
My boots will be shinny at least, and my BDU shirt is clean and stain free(we never wear them on the flight line, just our black t-shirts). 0 -
Awards Banquet and you guys are wearing BDUs??? Isn't that what your dress uniform is for?
Par for the course though...I was at a dinner in Indianapolis a couple months ago with a lot of civilians and some other military. The civilians were all in suits, etc., business dress. I and one Navy guy were in our dress uniforms. All the Army and NG types were in their ACUs. Incl the Indiana Adjutant General (Major General). Kind of interesting.0 -

I am sure this will be a lesson for you ..
1) Always expect the unexpected !
2) Forget flexible, be fluid !
3) Keep an extra work uniform in your locker at work, so you don't get caught by the short hairs again !
Also, if your uniform isnt "squared away" and you have not anticipated this problem and was not prepared ? How will you be able to expect those individuals that look to you for leadership to be prepared .
If your uniform is not squared away ...its not just YOU that is effected .... it is ALL of you in your unit !
Make preparations! Don't let THEM down again !

Get your kester over to Costco NOW and pickup some "Oil Eater" cleaning fluid! Pour some in the washing machine and let it soak about 45 minute to and hour, then wash/dry like normal. This stuff is GREAT! I've gotten axle grease off plastic rain parkas with it!! 0 -
Guess what, I was suppose to be in my dress blues. My First Sargent and Senior Master Sargent dropped the ball on that one because they said they didn't know either. On the good side, the 5th BW commander made a change of policy in his closing statement for the banquet. From now on, award banquets and luncheons that are held during normal duty hours will be uniform of the day, i.e. BDUs and/or ABUs. I single handedly influenced a change of policy. 0 -
