Ed, I used to live in Hyde Park many moons ago! Belonged to VFW-170 on Violet Ave, and the Am. Legion near the old state hospital. Are they still there?
I believe you mean the Vail Wolf Post at Number 1 Violet Avenue. Well I have some good news and some bad. The good news is post 170 is still there...The bad news is the price of drinks has gone up.[:D]
The old State hospital which covered many acres has been closed for a few years ...the patients were released and I believe they all became politicians.[:0] The hospital grounds will soon become high priced condos. Marist College across the road has become huge.
Your old hometown is very proper and politically correct. Taxes are out of sight.
If you remember who the highway superintendent (Hyde Park) was for many years.then you know my last name. NO Relation though.
