Idaho shooter shouldn't have had weapons C&P

Here we go again. See the paragraph I've highlighted near the bottom of the piece. Perhaps he owned the rifles before running into the law. That doesn't change the fact that he shouldn't have had them.

Police say Hamilton fled to a nearby church where it?_Ts believed he killed 62 year old Paul Bauer, the church sexton, before killing himself.
Moscow Police Chief Dan Weaver doubts a motive will ever be discovered:
?_oHe did not leave any notes, any messages that we?_Tve been able to find or locate, so we?_Td just be trying to read his mind, what was going on inside of his mind, at the time that he chose to do these actions.?__
Police say Hamilton had a history of domestic violence and had undergone a court- ordered psychiatric evaluation after attempting suicide. Hamilton was in court last week on a probation violation in a case that had been continued until June.
Newbill is the first police officer killed in the line of duty in Moscow?_Ts history.

and that is exactly why the rest of us need guns,
badguys and other assorted whack-jobs will always find a way to skirt whatever gun laws are in place.
Well...except for my ultimate gun law: all law abiding adults of sound mind and with the ability to aim and fire a firarm must own one (minimum, more are encouraged but not required) and be proficient in its use. THAT gun law may actually do something about stemming gun violence.0 -
Last year a guy from Caldwell, ID. cut off his wifes head and had it in the truck with him as he drove around town. He then swerved into oncoming traffic and killed a mother and a couple of kids.
It's the same story, just a different end. Drugs, alcohol, and bad family life, and to much of a coward to end his own life, so he tries to make others do it for him. The Caldwell guy survived, but we will have to house and feed him for the next 50 years.0 -

That happened right down the road from my house. Lousy POS walked away from the crash with scratches. Sure glad he gets cable T.V., a College Education (if he chooses), 3 squares a day, and a wieght room for the next however many years. I figure if since he wanted to die, and he killed his wife, the woman and her 2 little girls in the head -on, then this should have been a no brainer. Pay the .30 cents it would take for a bullet, and CALL IT A DAY. I'm sure we could find someone (like maybe the husband/father of the woman and kids he killed in the wreck) to pull the trigger.
