My fun Tuesday! W/pics.
I had posted earlier that on Tuesday I had a good/bad day.
To start off, I have been searching for a particular foosball table that is next to impossible to find. I found one on ebay but could not get it shipped to me feasibly.
I read a post on here about Craigslist. Lo and behold, I checked Maine for foosball tables and there is the exact one I am searching for. Brand new in box, for half of retail cost. I emailed, found it was still there and got them to drop another $100 off because the add was over a month old.
Tuesday morning got up to go to work around 3 and the weather forecast was bad. I decided to pick it up and emailed them that I was on my way. The table was about 300 miles away.
I left my house at 8 and drove. Stopped at a gas station to call them. After getting detailed directions I TRIED to start my truck. The starter would engage but not roll the engine over. After several tries got it to go.
Got to the house and loaded the table for the return trip.
On I-95 the rear differential started making some noise. Not good noise. I figured I could make it to Bangor roughly 100 miles away.
I made it to Bangor and went to a McQuik's oil change place. Asked them to check the rear differential fluid. I had 1/2 quart of oil in it and they said it was HOT!!
The cover has gotten hit and leaks, did not know it when I left. I must have hit it on a stump moving logs around my yard.
I made it home fine and shut the truck off. OH NO, I forgot...... Turned the key and it fired right back up. No idea why it wouldn't start before.
I unloaded the table and checked the weather. Supposed to be foggy, so therefore no work in the morning.
I started to assemble this table. Very well built/designed but they hired apes to do the installation instructions. You would put a part on and three steps later remove it because they had you put in on too soon.
They give you two tools to put it together. Yeah right. It would be impossible with what they gave you. I ended up using most of a 3/8 drive set with allen and screwdriver bits.
I got it together!!!!!!
Cleaned up my tools and packing stuff and had a small fire to get rid of the evidence/packing stuff.
Got to bed at 1 and still had my alarm on. Got up around 3 to a clear beautiful day and off to work I go.
Not a fun day on Wednesday, very tired.
But, I have today off.
So I got my table -- GOOD
But my truck hates me -- BAD
I have been to my mechanic and hopefully only need bearing in the rear. These are replacement gears because the rear blew up once already.

Nice table! craigslist, you can find basically anything, some states/cities only have a few ads on there. 0 -

Yeah it is all acrylic. Weighs right around 300 lbs. There are three lights under the glass playing surface. At night you turn all the lights in the house out and plug it in and the table lights up. Makes it a little different to play. You can still see everything, very bright but it changes things enough to make it a little bit more difficult to play. Have to change playing style.0 -

Nope don't mind.
I paid them $500 for the table new in box. They were asking $600 and it lists for around $950-1000.
The only place i have found them online is

The price is not bad but add about $200 for shipping.
BUT they do not have them in stock. I contacted them and found out that Classic Sport (the tables maker) has been acquired by Sportcraft.
I contacted Sportcraft and could not find anyone that knew if this table would continure to be produced.
It took me over 4 months to find this table anywhere since I first saw one online. I did see one on ebay but no good way to ship these. HEAVY0 -
