PETA names sexiest vegetarians...
No Meat For Me: Sexiest Vegetarians Named
Thousands Vote Online For Winners
POSTED: 2:56 pm EDT June 26, 2007
When it comes to eating vegetables, apparently there's no one sexier than country singer Carrie Underwood and Jay Leno's bandleader Kevin Eubanks.
They've been voted the World's Sexiest Vegetarians for 2007 in a monthlong poll on Peta.com.
Eubanks had help winning People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals's World's Sexiest Vegetarian man. Jay Leno has had a weeklong rally urging "Tonight Show" viewers to vote for him. This was Eubanks' first win.
Tonight Show viewers logged on in large numbers, pushing Eubanks ahead of his competitors. PETA said Eubanks is long known for his buff body, in addition to his musical skills.
"Every night before the show, I make sure [my] guitar is perfectly tuned. And every day, I do the same for my body -- with healthy, vegetarian meals. It's the easiest way to stay fit and feel great," Eubanks has said.
Underwood didn't need any help. She'd won the title two years ago.
Underwood said she is a lifelong animal lover.
"I quit eating beef when I was about 13," she has said. "I do it because I really love animals and it just makes me sad," she said. "I don't like to watch commercials where they have meat. It weirds me out."
Red-carpet runners-up include Heroes hottie Milo Ventimiglia, dashing actor Joaquin Phoenix, sexy sleuth Kristen Bell, Spider-Man 3's Bryce Dallas Howard, 30 Seconds to Mars vocalist Jared Leto, and Die Hard beauty Maggie Q. Tens of thousands of votes were cast.
Previous winners of PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian contest include Prince, Natalie Portman, Shania Twain, Chris Martin, Andre 3000, Tobey Maguire, Josh Hartnett, Alicia Silverstone, and Lauren Bush.
So, who's hungry?

I've got no problem with people who believe that a vegetarian diet is healthier for them.
I really can't stand those who try to say eating meat is somehow immoral and everyone else should also stop.0 -
Adolf Hitler right ?
What do I win ?

I crave meat like some crave chocolate. Our farm raised, free range, Angus/Hereford mix beef is absolutely to die for!! (gotta watch it when you spell Angus). Speaking of which, anyone seen the Jack-in-the-Box commercial that they were sued over?? 0 -
Hey, Susie...does the angus/hereford mix produce any profitable dairy? 0 -

Driving into Anchorage once and my buddy and I noticed the 'G' in the BLACK ANGUS
sign was out - grossed us out all the way to a McDonalds!

Humans have been eating meat since time immemorial. It is natural and healty for us to do so.
Children need the amino acids and protein found in meat for their brains to develop properly. Some of these veg-heads start their infants on a vegetarian diet, bad news.
Also, some of the radical vegetarians have put their cats on a vegetarian diet. This will kill the cat.
Whether a vegetarian diet can be healthy for an adult human I am not sure.0 -
What is sexy about someone suffering from a mental illness? Vegetarianism is a mental illness, you know. Them people just ain't right. 0 -

an adult can live a healthy life but they have to plan their diets carefully. There just aren't that many plants that will give you the essential amino acids (the 8 the body cannot synthesize) that you get easily from meat. Also you need some wierd sources of omega-3 fatty acids, whereas for a normal meat-eater the preferred source is Salmon [8D]
That's my opinion as someone who has taken human anatomy and physiology.
Now for my opinon as a deranged carnivore: vegetarians are nuts! How can you not eat ANY meat or animal products?0 -

...Since going green, the same thing happens to me everytime I pass brussle sprouts...[:p]...
...I gotta run! Time to go pick some wild prarie grass and gather some horse apples to make up a batch of tofu and prarie grass soup, with fresh horse apple pie for desert, yum! [:p]
...About out of candles for my tent, so need to pull some beeswax too for my homemade candles.
...Tough day when I have to gather beeswax as I don't use any smoke on the bees and I always get stung about a 100 times or more, but at least I don't have to worry about harming the little fellas, bees need clean air too...PEACE....[;)]

Hereford/Angus mix is strictly a beef production enterprise on our farm. We practice a balancing act with the herd bulls to shoot for what is called the "baldy". The baldy is mostly black angus with a white face. The Angus is purported to have the better flavor and the Hereford provides for a more tender cut. Also, the Angus tends to run slightly larger producing more meat on the hoof. Beef prices have been up the past few years bringing over $1.10 per pound for even the ugliest cattle. 0 -

Uuuum I hate to be the bearer of bad news but....Every sting KILLS a bee! One of gods little creatures.
Isn't 100% pure beeswax available at a store near you? I mean isn't it better to buy your beeswax at a store than to take a life?
ooooooh the horror! shame on you!
