Auction smells fishy
I've been watching an auction (not GB----hasn't been one on GB) for a used Beretta 84fs in nickel with NO reserve. Auction was scheduled to close today at 5:30 PST (7:30 my time). Originally, the Buy It Now price was over $500 ($529, I think)----the bid, this afternoon, was at $415 and had been there since Thursday.
The wife and I go out to get a bite to eat. We're back home by 5:00pm. I check the auction and it's closed. It stated that the auction closed at 2:01 PST (while we were at the restaurant).
Now, this is what the site shows "Seller's BuyItNow! Price: $479.99". Can't see any previous bids now. But, I did check the buyer's feedback--"the buyer joined the site today". Really suspicious to me. Oh well, I'll end up giving the money to the IRS.

Just say what your thinking. THe seller changed his buy now bid. Did a potential buyer email and negotiate a lower buy now bid? 0 -
