HOW MANY KINDS?
I think Classic has mentioned before that we feed the birds here (one of the benefits is no bugs[;)]) ...I was doing dishes and watching the birds feed at the same time and I was a bit amazed at the different kinds I have coming to my feeders..
Robins
Red Polls
Doves (3 kinds)
Blue Jays
Cardinals
Chickadees
Titmouse
Flickers
Sparrows
Warblers (not sure which ones)
Mocking birds
No flippin wonder my feeders go empty quick....

Pheasant, quail, geese, duck, woodpeckers and a bunch of songbirds that make different noises.
I'm in Orygun, raised in Ohio, and it seems that your bird selection is like what I had in Ohio.
Where do you live ??

I get about the same. The surprising thing is they are comming for the squirill food not bird food.
But on top of that I got deer and turkey.
I also want to try to find something to bring the rabbits in, I just don't know what I should get.0 -

CLASSIC here.
The wild turkey come out and eat out of our ground feeders. Squirrels, raccoons, opposums, and Armadillos are also among the creatures we feed along with about 80 percent of the neighborhood cats..[:0]0 -

An occasional Redtailed hawk, they have to eat too.
And all the ground crawling varmnits. Squirrels, Possums, Raccoons, rabbits and the neighbors cat.
About once a year I have some Indigo buntings come through and eat off my Finch feeders. They are the only true blue appearing bird and are very pretty.
I feed year round and am ready for the Hummingbirds to return.
I feed thistle, black oil sunflowers, mixed wild bird grain and occasionally suet blocks.
My last trip to the feed store was $49.00. I fill 6 feeders every day and pour some on a rock for the ground feeders. It's pretty crazy, but I enjoy it.

A bit off your topic, but birds feeding none the less.
Yesterday morning my SIL went snowmobiling on a pond not far from here and saw two adult and one juvenile bald eagle eating fish that people had left on the ice.
Later in the day my brother took some kids up to see the eagles were still there. Much to their suprise, there were eight adult eagles on the pond at one time. Seems good to have them back in the area in healthy numbers. Now the next trick is to get pictures; perhaps this coming weekend. RJSnow0 -
