I watch my grand son once or twice a week all day, and we play a game that I like to call "That's Grand Pa's"! The game consists of him going around the room and touching or picking up things off tables or shelves that are breakable, and me saying "No, that's grand pa's". We can (and do) spend hours playing the game.

That's funny. My son and I play this game to, but our version is LEAVE THAT ALONE.

My daughter is just now geting into the "parrot" phase. I dropped an S-Bomb the other day. She made up a song about it.

Oh, this is gonna be fun!

    1. Youngest daughter was 5. Gave her a mini chemlite left in my gear. She snapped it, got a big grin, asked how does it work? Told her "like a lightning bug". She replied "No- you don't hafta bend lightning bugs!"

    2. Grandaughter, age 5. Taking her and her friend out to dinner. Putting on jacket when friend noticed my CCW revolver, and asked "Why does your Grandpa have a gun?" Grandaughter said "Silly- because HE is the grownup!" And that may be the most to-the-point PRO-gun argument I have heard.

My boy, age 4, was watching Bambi with a large group of kids. In one seen Bambi is running from the evil hunters...a gun shot rang out and Bambi falls to the ground. Bambi then struggles to his feet and my boy yells out "Hurry you need to shoot him again!!"

We talked about it later that night and I asked him why they needed to shoot him again and he said "They didn't do a good job the first time."

Made his dad so happy [:D][:D][^]

We were at the sporting goods store last year where they have lots of mounts. They had a neck mounted water buffalo on the wall. There was another guy standing just down the gun counter from us that could hear. My GF's son had just turned 5.

Grif: Look mom that one is a girl!
Me thinkning he must think it is a girl how the horns part in the middle and curl.
I say why do you think that is a girl one, becuase the way the hornes look?
Grif: NO, because it is fat!

The guy down the counter about lost it, but tried to be polite. GF had no idea what to say. I just laughed. [:D][:D][:D]

Several years ago my great aunt was turning 100 soon. So I told my son "Josh aunt Marge is going to be 100 soon" he said "wow just think if she's lucky enough to be 200". Well she didn't make it but close. It turns out we were wrong. When she died she was 100 going on 101. Bless her soul.
