Ira Hayes was from the Gila River Reservation, Town of Sacaton. It is about 15 miles north of where I live. There is a nice memorial to him in the square there.

abcguns2 said "O.K. , well I think Yuma sux !!!" I like Yuma. Sure it gets hotter than the hinges on the gates of hell during the summer but you have to learn to live with the desert. Winters are great. Thats why a quizillion snow birds move there every winter.

Dude, you could pop a dozen of them out of my living room window from the comfort of the Air Conditioned house.

They infest my front yard all day long while I'm at the shop, here in Mesa.

Game and Fish considers them "game animals" even though they never leave the city.

Point one, Cabela's is in Glendale, point two even though we do have a resident population, doves are migratory game birds that move through the state on their way to wintering grounds in Mexico. Although I no longer hunt them, never could get to like the taste, shooting them was a fun time. Good luck!
