Since I can't edit I will add this...

I have no problem with a Female Trooper what-so-ever. She was 100lbs, as she said so. But had no idea what ammunition she was looking for. Basically had no common firearm knowledge.

At least maybe she was getting some ammo to go practice... after all, if it were training/academy/exercises/work mandated they'd supply the ammo too right?

Years back I had a city police woman pick up my MKIII .303 Brit Lithgow and attempt smell the muzzle to see if it had been discharged. Didn't even check to see if it was loaded or if the safety was on. Earlier in the day, in my yard, I showed my new shotgun to my neighbor and someone called the cops stating that I was "branishing" a weapon. Someone a few blocks over was lighting M-80's or something and I was then accused of discharging a firearm. Dumbest thing that I'd ever seen.

Smurf Cops is what we called them in Philadelphia! What a waste, they could not handle themselves on the street, they would stand by and watch like a cheerleader if you got into a scuffle with a bad guy!

Could it be she was still in training and had not gotten any firearms training yet? Once she goes through training she might get better.
But just because someone is a cop does not make them superhuman, we had a case in Cleveland where the cop shot his buddy because they were goofing off with his 45. Another where a firefighter shot his neighbor for setting off fireworks. And a third where and officer chased his wife in a car and shot at her then killed himself.

Cubs I hope you didn't sell her ammo without asking for her FOID card?
    Does "sting" ring a bell??

    She had already graduated.

Hunter....why would she need a FOID card? I live in Indiana.

Yeah, and they shoot those heat seeking, ultra deadly, explosive bullets.

Well I live in Illinois and assumed in Indy one needs some kind of firearms card/permit.
Must be nice. Indiana sounds like a pretty liberal state.

Hunter Mag - if that sounds good, you should come down here to Florida...

Of course, I understand that in Texas they issue you a firearm after paying 3 utility bills in a row... :)

Actually I am thinking about Florida...when I retire. But by then I may choose some where else. It will be in a low popuation area though.
Like some where with 50 acres with 40 or so wooded for hunting and a 1-2 acre pond/lake for fising/waterfowl huntng. [:p]

Hunter - in that case, check out N Florida (here near me) and you'll be very happy... LOTS of undeveloped land in Gilchrist, Columbia, etc. counties.
