iraq here i come

Got word late last week that the 56th SBCT of the Pa. National Guard will be deploying to somewhere(read iraq)next september/october timeframe


fiance is NOT happy. we will be married about 3 months when i leave for train up[:(]

    It is part of the deal she bought in to...she needs to face up to it. She doesn't have to be personally happy about your absence, but she should be PROUD.

    Good Luck - My Daughter will be going over there in Feb/Mar - I am already having to gentle down She Who Must Be Obeyed, too.

    Good luck. Get her in contact with other wives who are stable and have gone through this before. Be careful, though. Some of the wives are NOT a good influence.

    the hell with opinions. i am going weather i like it or not. i knew that i could end up in the sandbox when i signed up, and wouldn't change my mind if i were to be given the chance. i am damn proud of what i do.

    if we do indeed deploy to Iraq i will do my job(13F- FO/ Stryker Driver) and do my best to keep myself and my buddies alive

    my fiance is not happy bout it but the way i look at it, if we can make it through this, we can make it through anything. and if not well . . .God's Will
