I can relate. The city folk that move to the country need to leave the damn city behind...problem is, most of them do not...they bring it all with them and try to change the country...sort of like all these imigrants (and our nation)...illegal and otherwise.

Yep, immigrants that come to the US, illegial or legal are running away from their restrictive governments in many cases. The first thing they do is try to plant their culture within ours.[:(!]

They try to recreate the very thing they run away from. Makes no sense, I thinks its what they grew up with and are comfortable with. Kind of a subconscience thing.[:0][:0]

Living in the country is nice except when city folks move in.

My shop in in the county. I live behind my shop. Behind my fenced in acre is a 50 unit trailer park. I have a 10 foot holly hedge along the fence row.

Last month a 25 foot travel trailer takes up spot one just over the fence. A sat dish, gas grill, and bench swing appear in the lot.

I shoot in the yard to test fire, target practice, whatever, it's the county and legal. Fired a couple of rounds in the afternoon and next morning a deputy comes by with a complaint of shooting. He told them it was legal and just wanted me to know.
I drive back in the park and knock on Mr. Gasgrills door. "You the fella that called the cops about me shooting?" He stutters an afirmative.
I proceed to tell him I've been shooting here 15 years and have yet to kill anyone in the park. If he has a problem, come see me.

Today, he stopped by and told me my dog's barking bothers them. "Welcome to the country pal" "Did you enjoy living where you were before you moved here?" "Move back".
"I will be here long after you're not"

Nothing worse than morons for neighbors.

    2 ez
Gitcha a banjo and rinse your mouth with green food coloring, knock on his door and say "Hey I just noticed... you kinda look like Ned Beatty, How'dja like to play a little Deliverence"...

City people like to move to the country for the peace and quite. They tend to forget that cows , coyotes, crickets and farmers also make noise. They also forget that gunshots tend to be more prevalent in the country than in the city.

They don't call them "Citiots" for nothing.

Just feel thankful they're not Kalifornicator Citiots, who simply ruin everything they touch.

P3, sounds like the country is now the city.

It seems to happen if you stay somewhere nice long enough...

1.1 million souls live in my city. None are my friend. None are to be trusted.

Try that one for "Country Style Hospitality".

Could you handle West Indian red hot chili pepper, or would you rather settle for "Country Style mild flavored".

My wife and I moved from a pop. of 760k to a pop. of a thousand most folks around here dont want to hear a 300win mag going off but dont mind the occasional 22. I shoot a air rifle that is louder than a 22 and have not have any complants. We have new people from the city comming in the area all the time, what you need to do is shoot every day to train them that this is normal. I shoot between 10-12noon and 5-6pm so they know this is normal.Same thing is happening at my moms and she started doing this and the popo[:D] stopped comming around!By the way this in the California coast!

Seems to me all country folk hate all city folk.
Also seems to me there's better things to do than hate.
I don't hate anybody and really try to get along with everybody.[;)]
