how hard is it
how hard is it to remove the barrel on a Remington model four. i need to take the bolt out for a good cleaning. there is something in there that is messing this up and i tried to clean it with out taking the bolt out but it looks like i didnt get it good enough and the only way to remove the bolt assembly is to remove the barrel. does the gun need to have the headspace rechecked after removing the barrel or just if i replace the bolt assembly. now i pretty good with guns and can usually figure stuff out on my own but i have never had to take the barrel off of a gun to remove the bolt assembly before. i have a gunsmith manual on the way for this gun that is suppose to explain step by step on how to repair this gun but i just ordered it and it hasnt got here yet. i'm just trying to find out what i'm getting myself into.

to install a new stereo headunit in a Subaru impreza? It's an older car (1996) and it's got a Pioneer CD player installed.
I want a different head unit but don't want to pay somebody else to install it.
So what are the odds I can pull it off without screwing something up? I'm moderately mechanically inclined.
