I have seen this before. It was in one of the harley mags recently and its a scaled down radial engine used in aircraft. Quite a rare bird to say the least!

Hmm...something doesn't look right. Is that for real? I don't see a belt. Is it on the opposite side or something? Also, the rear tire seems to angle away from the camera but that whole triangular piece in front of the rear wheel seems to be along lines that are perpendicular to the camera's line of sight. Looks like a Photo Shop job.

Idsman I see what you mean about the rear wheel but it is real. There have been several of them built recently, I guess it's the new in thing for builders to do.

Ids , looks like the belt is there on the front ( where the prop would be ) right up from the kickstand , although I see no guard .

The belt that you see is the primary drive belt, it transfers power from the motor to the clutch. The secondary drive is on the opposite side, like it would be on a sportster. This is called a right side drive transmission. Custom builders are using them now a days, cleans up the appearance on that side of bike, Also makes shifting easier on the Mainshaft i Beleive. Difference between direct drive and indirect drive. The rear sprocket and rotor are one. Looks like he's also usin a hydraulic clutch, but he is using 82' through 95' master cylinder [V] . I think the 96' and later master cylinder/ hand controlls look better

You had better shave your legs when riding that. You don't want any hair getting caught in that belt. The results could be disasterous !

I' m curious as to the carb configuration on that. I bet the exhaust set-up is pretty crazy too.

You can see parts of the exhaust on the far side...
