    What kills me is that so many people slammed that man for picking up the officers gun and shooting the bad dude...Saw it on the news!

    Poor officer training and procedures. Probably got away with it many times but not this time.

    Remember many years ago a hunter observed a gunman shoot and kill a Texas LEO. The hunter had a scoped rifle and killed him at over 100 yds. Texas LE not only kept his name private, they gave him a comm. S&W enscribed to "The Hunter".
    For those that castigate the man for doing the killer, I say P.Off!

    I remember this incident. The hunter was driving down the road with his son, and saw the bad guy shoot the trooper.
    He pulled over, about 200 yards away as I recall. I believe he had a .270, took out the bad guy with one shot.
    The morale, don't bring a pistol to a rifle fight.

    I feel horrible for the officer, but I agree, what was he thinking!
    He pepper sprays a guy in a car, and then turns his back, and walks away! I am not an LEO, but it doesn't make any sense to me.
    The citizen that offed the "scum", should receive a medal, IMHO.
